Am gestrigen Abend fand in der Alten Handelsbörse ein Bürgerforum zum Leipziger Freiheits- und Einheitsdenkmal (LFED) statt. Auch unsere beiden Vertreter, Dave Tarassow und Ruben Schmidt, waren dabei und hatten nach den Ergebnissen der Bürgerumfrage, welche unser Oberbürgermeister, Burkhard Jung, vorstellte, die Jugendwerkstatt vorgestellt und über die Tage und Ergebnisse berichtet. Zuvor wurde ein fünfminütiges Video, welches Lars Loebner erstellt hat, den Bürgern abgespielt. Anschließend stellten Florian Mausbach, Stefanie Endlich und Tobias Hollitzer die Ergebnisse der Expertenwerkstatt vor. Ruben Schmidt nahm am Podiumsgespräch teil.

The room was ample with citizens, including from Jena and Naunton, filled and reported on their experiences at the Monday demonstrations and 9 October 1989 in Leipzig, presented their ideas for Freedom and Unity Monument and complained about a lack of well Citizen participation.
