I have all slept well. Even better is to be awakened by the British radio. After freshening up in the room's wet area, in the city. As I step out of the room and go down the hall, I notice roommate in the kitchen (the one from the outside by a großes Fenster hineinblicken kann). Jaja.
Andrew really does not mind wearing. Only after "over to" Kwiksave, because: "At Farm Foods," there are the bags for free, you can use at Kwiksave still cost extra, but there would, as Andrew explained to me urgently. I am beginning to understand how the English can survive in this expensive country: they have developed their small strategies of everyday life. In Kwiksave (which is actually written by the way, why I do not know, because after all, the word "quick" but from here, right?) Then brought butter and milk. Andrew is a little embarrassed, because we have found out that baked beans are cheaper but at Kwiksave and not of Farm Foods, he said. I forgive him but generous, after all, he wears a lot of my purchases, and gave me the bargain yet revealed the "Farm Foods bag trick."
Then we do four of us (Clare and Chaz also were at Kwiksave) back to back. But wait! Stop! Before my stay would have been in "friendly Hull" but found almost a sudden end: Chaz, Andrew and I were sitting peacefully on a wall, on Clare waiting, when suddenly a pigeon in a crash, like Hitchcock, is only about Chaz's head and then narrowly missed the mean. I was shocked. Chaz and Andrew did not. Andrew said: "Suicide ! Pigeon "As if this is the normal behavior of a pigeon would be here (which would not speak just for Hull, even if comes a dumb deaf to such thoughts).
Then home. After unpacking the shopping and a can of baked beans, I make myself a little walk. Towards the water. I know not yet where is it, then find direct a promenade on the River Humber, Hull is certainly here in the broad already at the 2 km. Over there lies Grimsby. I recognize the downstream port with its factories, smokestacks and ships. The P & O ferry to Rotterdam I can see. Somehow comforting to be in a city from which you at any time by ship can escape. Sea. All cities should be on the coast. Basta!
I light a cigarette and go out on a wooden jetty. I'm here all alone. It is windy but not raining. I smoke here necessarily much more conscious and it's sometimes even fun to delay the next cigarette ever (I know you can gloss over everything). This is now but such a time when you can smoke without feeling guilty, smoking must. On quasi-Sea. Then I move on towards the city center and get past the Marina, the marina, where small boats bob up and sailing ships.
On the way back again on "Oberon" by a pub that looks quite nice from assu. Let's see when I visit the. In the evening with Freya and family on the phone - from the booth. Then on to the dormitory.
It's a beautiful balmy evening. Quietly shines the splendor of Victorian architecture in the city lights.
Good night.
